How I came to work with the body
My name is Bahareh Saremi, and my path into this work has grown from both personal curiosity and professional experience.
While training to become a children's therapist, I explored different ways of supporting myself during challenging periods, including talking therapy. Over time, I became increasingly curious about approaches that included the body, not just the mind.
Through yoga and through exploring the body via therapeutic bodywork, I began to understand how much the body holds and communicates beyond words.
This discovery shaped the way I now work: gently, attentively, and in response to each person’s unique experience. My aim is to meet people exactly where they are and support them in reconnecting with their bodies in a way that feels safe, respectful, and deeply personal.
I’m experienced in working across cultures and can offer sessions in Farsi, if helpful.
The body knows. It remembers, it responds, and it can guide us back to balance if we slow down and listen.
In sessions, I help clients tune in to their body’s signals, release tension, and reconnect with themselves. Together we create a space where your body can guide the work, and your mind can finally rest.
